Restoran Sia Lee
For cheap yet tasty seafood, visit Restoran Sia Lee as it has been dubbed the best seafood restaurant in town. This outlet is open daily from 10 am until 11 pm. Among its popular dishes include:

Located in Taman Bunga Kertas, Pantai Seafood Restaurant is famous for butter prawn, banana leave fish, black pepper ostrich meat, Kum Heong crab and chilli crab.
More choices at The Village
Village is often crowded particularly during dinnertime. Serving you the best seafood in PD, among some of their specialties are honey crab, black pepper crab, kum heong lala, dry chilli bamboo clams, curry deer meat, oyster egg, masala chicken, claypot beancurd and dry chilli sotong. The restaurant is situated at Batu 10, Jalan Pantai.
Lucky Seafood Restaurant
One of the ‘famed’ specialties in PD is the gigantic Curry Chicken King Bun. You can easily spot Lucky Seafood Restaurant which is situated around the corner opposite of a local Chinese school. The signature specialty – Curry Chicken King Bun is a unique dish. Curry chicken with thick gravy is wrapped inside the bun. Once you cut the bun into half, you can dip the bun into the gravy served with tasty chicken. Locals and foreigners loved this dish as the curry chicken is fragrant and not spicy. The bun costs between RM18 and RM23.
Restoran Mei Jing
For authentic Chinese cuisine, there are few selections available in PD. One of the most popular spot is Restaurant Mei Jing located in Lukut. Among some of the recommended dishes are honey pork ribs, minced meat tofus and salted egg yolk crabs. The restaurant opens daily from 11.30 am till 1 am.
Ulek Mayang Ikan Bakar
Eaters who crave for halal Malay cuisine have to check out hawker stalls located along Teluk Kemang beach. Known as Ulek Mayang Ikan Bakar, the stall is famous for grilled seafood and spicy tom yam soup. ‘Ikan Bakar’ is a famous dish in Malaysia in which fish is wrapped inside banana leaf and grilled over charcoals. Other worth trying dishes offered in hawker stalls are deep fried squid served with special sauces, mee rojak and rojak.
Delicious Satay at PD Eating Point
Succulent satay is served here in PD Eating Point. The restaurant is located next to the Catholic Church and Le Paris Hotel. Patrons can visit the restaurant anytime of the day as they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Besides succulent satay, PD also offers authentic Malay and Chinese delights as well as Western dishes.

If you are looking for cheap yet tasty food, visit the weekend market for more local delights. Nasi Lemak (fragrant rice served with sambal anchovies) is famous here in the market. One of the stalls selling nasi lemak has something more to offer – salted fish. As you walk around the market, you’ll discover cheap Malay dishes.
Nancy’s Kitchen
Nancy’s Kitchen which is located slightly further away from the beaches serves the best Nyonya delights including belacan fried four angled beans, nyonya popiah, chicken candlenut and chincaluk egg.
Italian food at the Thistle
You can find classic Italian delights at Glass inside Thistle Port Dickson Resort. However, the restaurant is only open from 7 pm till 11 pm. Another fairly popular café, Gim Men Teppanyaki located at Kampung Arab, Jalan Pantai is famous for their 3-flavoured fish.
