The oldest golf course here is the h 99 East Golf Club which is an ideal course for novices and beginners while for the seasoned golfers, the Golf Club Datai Bay is the internationally renowned and most suitable while the Gunung Raya Golf Resort, located at the foot of Mount Raya offers a truly exciting golfing experience.

Golf Club Datai Bay

The Golf Club Datai Bay is the most impressive course in Langkawi island. Engulfed within the forest of Mount Mat Cincang, you can enjoy your game amidst the amazing view of the Andaman Sea. It is among the most highly rated golf course in the world which has attracted a wide array of international golfing enthusiast. The Golf Club Datai Bay offers an 18-hole championship golf course with par 72 within its 5994 meter long stretch. With its global appeal and reputation, it would be slightly more costly to play golf here which comes with a Club Café clubhouse, shower rooms, golf buggy rentals and a swimming pool as well. Rental for a golf cart is at RM80, umbrellas at RM30 with teeing-off starting at 7.30 in the morning.

Gunung Raya Golf Resort

The Gunung Raya Golf Resort is one of the most recent golf course s here which is an 18-hole, 72-par golf course. Teeing off starts as early as 7.00am where the course was designed by Max Wexler, a renowned American golf architect. Here, you will enjoy the mountainous view around Kisap which comes with a clubhouse and other standard amenities available. Green fees start from RM170 for 9-holes and RM230 for 18-holes. Other rates start sfrom RM40 for buggy rental and RM10 for 100 balls at the driving range.

99 East Golf Club

This golf course is the earliest golf course here 99 East Golf Club Langkawi. It was originally known as the Langkawi Golf Club before being renamed as 99 East Golf Club in 2012. Teeing-off starts at 7.30am at this 18-hole championship course designed by Ross Watson, a renowned Australian golf architect.
