Through Jalan Tun Razak, KLCC connects you to the likes of Sri Petaling and Bukit Jalil. That is where the national stadium is and where you are connected to the KLIA International Airport via the MEX highway.

While KLCC offers you the modern skyscraper scenario, Dataran Merdeka is more of the rustic, old city centre. It is constantly busy with traffic all day while trains come in and out of the city centre as well. Dataran Merdeka (or Independence Square) gets you to places like Bukit Bintang through various main roads.

Bukit Bintang Budget Stays

The shopping district of Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Bintang has much to offer if you like to indulge in this. The Pavilion Shopping Centre and Sungei Wang Plaza are both located in the heart of Bukit Bintang. Around here, there are a myriad of 5-star hotels and budget accommodation options.

A great place to wine and dine and to enjoy the nightlife of the metropolitan, you can head out to the nearby suburbs. There are several main roads that lead out of Bukit Bintang. The best places you can consider staying are Sentral, Old Klang Road, Cheras, Ampang, Sri petaling(nearest to KLIA airport) which is connected via several main roads which are about 10 minutes away.

Budget Hotels located 30 mins drive from KLIA

Old Klang Road is a great place to stay if you plan to visit Kuala Lumpur either for leisure or business. You are easily within reach of some of the top shopping malls like MidValley and Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre which are connected via the KESAS and KL-Seremban highways. It is closer to the airport than any other suburbs around Kuala Lumpur.

As you are staying outside the city centre, there are lesser traffic jams here, especially during the rush hours. You can easily get taxi services while the LRT train stations are minutes away. Besides that, Old Klang Road or Jalan Kelang Lama has a lot of hotel options to choose from. Hotels here usually offer bigger rooms and are a lot cheaper than those you pay in the city centre.

If you are staying around the southern parts of KL around Old Klang Road, getting here is quite easy as you can come through the Federal Highway or through the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban expressway. It is only about 10 minutes drive away and you get to stay outside the city centre, avoiding the traffic congestion.

Very well connected with other suburbs, coming here is very easy through taxi, bus or train. From Old Klang Road, you can get to Chinatown via the Federal Highway which takes less than 20 minutes on any given day.
